Frame34 worked for RTL & n-tv in Istanbul.

The Frame34 team worked on location in Istanbul for German channels RTL and n-tv last November. One of our journalists, Christian Feiland, appeared on #camera several times, reporting on the tragic deaths of a tourist family, including two children aged three and six, in a hotel in Istanbul.

While Turkish officials initially named food poisoning as the cause, further investigations later revealed that highly toxic pesticides had been used incorrectly inside the hotel room.

Frame34's technical and editorial setup, including #LiveU transmission and on-camera reporters, supported the coverage, enabling fast and reliable live reporting in sensitive conditions.

Frame34 collaborated with Agnes Films for an Airbnb.org PR production a few months back.
We had the privilege of supporting Airbnb.org, a non-profit organization committed to help people in times of crisis through the Open Homes initiative.

Frame34 arranged and coordinated the local production, including filming permits, camera gear & lenses, lightening, grip, sound technician, camera assistant, drone operator, security, catering, local scouts/runners and drivers. Local and the US Crew consisted out of 25 people.

In over three intense preparation weeks, our local producers worked tirelessly to provide the permissions and logistics needed. Equipment and grip had to be shipped from Istanbul to Adana and Gaziantep in the south of Turkey – a two day trip for the trucks.

Our lovely local production team supported the American crew in the mission to show Airbnb.org's tireless efforts to provide shelter and support – in this case the support for the victims of the devastating earthquake on February 6th in the south of Turkey.

Documentary filming for German SWR / "ARTE Re:". We followed two families who smuggled themselves out of Turkey to reach Germany and England.
